“Faro de Estrellas” the winning lyrics of the Light Song Contest
for the International Year of Light (IYL2015) sponsored by UNESCO

The lyrics of “Faro de Estrellas” written by Sandra von Borries in Spanish, has won the musical literary competition Light Song Contest which was open to songwriters and poets who are inspired by light in all contexts, poetic, literal, technological, spiritual and scientific, for the International Year of Light 2015 sponsored by UNESCO.
The winning lyrics were chosen by a panel of judges, Dr Joe Niemela, world coordinator for IYL 2015, Roberto Gasparini (A&R Ricordi/EMI/RCA/BMG/SONY) and Jalisse.
The duo have composed and arranged the music for the winning lyrics and the song will be available in all digital music stores from next November 6th.
